Leon Brasher, 90
Leon Brasher, age 90, of Fredonia, KY, passed away on Monday, Nov 21, 2016 at his home. He was born on Sep 05, 1926 in Crittenden County to Orbin Austin Brasher and Katie Newberry Brasher Griffin. He was President and Chairman of the Board of Fredonia Valley Bank in Fredonia, KY from 1958 until his retirement in 1996, a member of First Baptist Church of Fredonia where he served as a deacon for 60 years, a Sunday School teacher, and a choir member. He was past director of the Caldwell County Hospital, a 50 year charter member and President of the Fredonia Lions Club and a member of the American Legion. Leon was also a graduate of the Kentucky School of Banking.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Oliver Brasher of Fredonia, KY; one daughter, Kimberly Brasher Brown and husband, Barry of Princeton, KY; one grandson, Aaron Brasher Brown and wife, Jennifer of Kuttawa, KY and one granddaughter, Chelsey Brown Farless and husband, Clay of Princeton, KY and four great grandchildren: Mitchell Brown, Barrett Brown, Parker Brown and Lily Farless.
He was preceded in death by five sisters: Louise Smith, Naomi Padon Parish, Katherine Thompson, Mary Lou McCormick and Bonnie Buchanan.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 25, at Morgan's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26 at 11 a.m. at Morgan's. Burial will follow in the Fredonia Cemetery.

Susan Marie Watson, 58
Services for Susan Marie Watson, 58, of Providence were held Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the chapel at Jones Kirby Funeral Home in Providence.
Mrs. Watson died Saturday, Nov. 19, at her residence in Eddyville. She was a member of Providence General Baptist Church.
Her parents were Sammy Nall and Iris (Moser) Nall.
Survivors are: her husband, William Roland Watson; a daughter, Amy Michelle Johnson; a sister, Sharon Herran; and two grandchildren.
Jesse Ray Hargrove, 44
Funeral services for 44 year old Jesse Ray Hargrove of Cadiz were Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 4 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home with Pastor Bradford Carroll officiating.
Visitation was held prior to the funeral from 2 to 4 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home.
Survivors: Wife of 25 years: Velma Hargrove, Cadiz; Mother: Lois Ann Hargrove, Cadiz; Daughters and Sons-In-Law: Michelene and Steven Underhill, Cadiz; Erin Brough, Cadiz; Shannon Brough and Lenny Craig, Murray; Danielle and Andy Shepherd, Cadiz; Megan Hargrove and Jerimiaha Hightower, Cadiz; Brothers and Sisters-In-Law: Paul and Debbie Milam, Cadiz; Shannon Hargrove and Helen Curtis, Cadiz; David “Crowbar” and Kim Hargrove, Cadiz; Sisters and Brother-In-Laws: Lucy and Robert Sutton, Eddyville; Telva and Billy Kearney, Cadiz; six grandchildren: Alexa Taylor, Makenna Underhill, Delilah Ogburn, Carter Shepherd, Riley Underhill, Layden Hightower. A number of nieces and nephews.
He was born in Princeton, on March 4, 1972 to Lois Ann Proffitt Hargrove of Cadiz and the late Bobby Dean Hargrove.
Mr. Hargrove died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following a short illness.
He was a steel worker at Southeast Tube and of the Baptist Faith.
King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz was in charge of arrangements.

Judy Ann Franklin, 73
Sunrise graveside services for Judy Ann Franklin, 73, of Princeton were Saturday, Nov. 19, at Dorr-Orange Cemetery in Caldwell County with the Rev. Roger Felker officiating.
Mrs. Franklin died Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Baptist Health Madisonville. She was a retired store manager and member of Beulah Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Her parents were Woodrow Valentine Ashby, Sr. and Virginia Blalock Ashby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Euel Thomas Franklin, and a brother, Woody Ashby.
Survivors are: three daughters, Lori Mitchell Tingen of Raleigh, N.C., Scharla Rennison of Fredonia, and Samantha Franklin of Princeton; a son, Shawn Mason of Princeton; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Kay Dabney of Eddyville and Cynthia Ashby of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Christine Fowler Terrell, 75
Services for Christine Fowler Terrell, 75, of Cadiz, were held Friday, Nov. 18, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Revs. John Mitchell and Norman Cotton officiating. Burial followed at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Mrs. Terrell died Tuesday, Nov. 15, at her home in Cadiz. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist.
Her parents were Cline and Blue Belle Tyler Fowler.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Fowler; and a sister, Linda Fowler.
Survivors are: her husband, Doris Terrell, Cadiz; two sons, Tony Fowler and Kevin Terrell, both of Cadiz; a daughter, Melissa Terrell, Cadiz; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Earl Fowler, Cadiz; two sisters, Wandine Bryant and Bonnie Freeman, both of Cadiz.

Tylene Villines Cain, 83
Services for Tylene Villines Cain, 83, of Eddyville, were Friday, Nov. 18, at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs with the Rev. John Benton officiating. Burial followed at Wood Cemetery (formerly Traylor Cemetery) in Hopkins County.
Mrs. Cain died Tuesday, Nov. 15, at her residence. She was born on July 23, 1933 in Caldwell County. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Princeton and worked for many years as a nurse’s aide.
Her parents were Thomas and Berchie Jones Redden.
She was preceded in death her first husband, Virgil Villines and two brothers, Alfred Redden and Billy Redden.
Survivors are: her husband, Robert Earl Cain of Eddyville; a son, Joe Villines of Lyon County; and a granddaughter.
