She was a retired nurses aide at Caldwell County Hospital and a member of Lamasco Baptist Church.
Her parents were Lynn and Lillie Thorpe Fuqua.
Survivors are: three sons, Harold and Rob Ferguson both of Lyon County; Jimmy Ferguson, Jasper, Ala.; a brother, Robert Fuqua of Lyon Couny; a sister, Marjorie Barnett of Lyon County; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
