Services for Alex Hinton, 26, of Dawson Springs, were April 8 at Fairview United Methodist Church in Eddyville with the Rev. Jamus Redd officiating.

Mr. Hinton died April 5 in Madisonville. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and a coal miner for Ken America. 

 Survivors are: his wife, Jodie Amber McVickers Hinton; two daughters,  Ivori and Delilah Hinton; father, Hank Hinton of Madisonville;his mother, Gwen Stanton of Alexandria,Vir.; his grandmother, Delilah Neigh of Alexandria; a brother, Jack Hinton of Hanson; a nephew and a niece.
