Mrs. Harrison grew up in Kuttawa, attended Western Kentucky University and worked for a short time in Chicago during World War II as a “Rosie the Riveter.” She was a homemaker, wife and loving mother to her four children. She enjoyed cooking, hosting family dinners, canning and freezing, square dancing, and playing bridge. She formerly attended Settle Memorial Church in Owensboro and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lexington.
She is survived by three sons, Dr. Earl (Linda) Harrison, Jr. of Havre, Mont., Dr. William (Nancy) Harrison of Owensboro, and Dr. Joseph Harrison of PeWee Valley; one daughter, Dr. Mary Lee Harrison (David Peveler) of Woodcliff Lake, N.J.; nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one nephew, Coleman Courtney Molloy III of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Glenn Molloy; a brother, Coleman Courtney Molloy, Jr.; and her parents, Coleman
Courtney Molloy, Sr. and Mary Lee Glenn Molloy.
Graveside services were Jan. 19 at Kuttawa Cemetery in Kuttawa with the Rev. Jesse Johnson officiating. There was no visitation.
