Mrs. Spicer died Aug. 28 in Christian Care Nursing Center in Kuttawa. She was a homemaker, a seamstress, and was retired as a floor supervisor for A & P
Tea Company in Detroit, Mich. She also worked in a civil defense plant in Detroit, Mich. during World War II as a Rosie the Riveter and she was a 30-year member of the Eddyville Church of Christ.
Her parents were William L. and Ada Browning Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Kinzer Spicer; threesisters, Nancy Dean, Freda Deal and Evelyn Johnson; six brothers, Ivan, Raymond, Noble, Edgar, W. L. and Quill Lewis.
Survivors are: a son, Claud Spicer of Eddyville; a daughter, Alene Wallace of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
