She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Pauline Fancher; a brother, James R. Fancher and son, William L. Howitz, SLC, Utah. She is survived by four sons and one daughter; James L. Howitz (Yvonne), Lexington, Ky.; Clifton I. Howitz, Jr., Wetumpka, Ala.; Matthew D. Howitz (Cindy), Montgomery, Ala.; Michael C. Howitz (Barbara), Darrington, South Carolina and Virginia A. Howitz, Montgomery, Ala. She had ten grandchildren; Lynn, Keri, Rocky, Emily, Tanner, Matt, Andy, Kerri, Madeline and Mikayla; and a sister, Emma Jean DeWolfe, Warick, Rhode Island. The family would like to thank Hospice Advantage, especially Sheila and Emily, and the many caretakers who assisted in her care.
