Services for Lewis Wayne “Red” Salyers, 78, of Princeton, will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 23 at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Kent Workman will officiate, with burial to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

Mr. Salyers died Aug. 21 at his home following a short illness. He is survived by one son, Donald Salyers of Humboldt, Tenn., two daughters, Pattie McDoewll of Eddyville and Deedi Bell of Princeton; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Shortt Salyers. and a brother, Billy Joe Salyers. His parents were Lewis Jefferson Salyers and Elois McKinney Salyers.

Mr. Salyers was an electrician, retired from Air Products in Calvert City.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Princeton.
