Mrs. Wells died June 14 in Christian Care Nursing Center in Kuttawa. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Bank of Lyon County in Eddyville and was of the a Baptist faith.
Her parents were Silas Kennedy and Mary Gray Kennedy.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William Henry Wells and a brother, Lawrence Kennedy.
Survivors are: a son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. “Bobby” and Naomi Wells of Eddyville; two grandchildren, Kathy Stone of Eddyville and Sherry Rhodes and her husband, Jerry, also of Eddyville; three great grandchildren, Rachel Rhodes and Evan Rhodes, both of Eddyville and Whitney Stone Adams and her husband, Dan, of Clarksville, Tenn.; two great-great grandchildren, Ashley Adams and Tyler Adams, both of Livingston County; a brother Kenneth and Adrianne Kennedy of Kuttawa, three sisters Mary Ruth Housman of Paducah, Shirley and Frank Gavner of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Kathryn and Ed Fuqua of Oviedo, Fla. and several nieces and nephews.
