Services for Martha Jean Whalin, 81, of Eddyville, were Jan.12 at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Rodney Wallace officiating. Burial followed in Kuttawa Cemetery.

Mrs. Whalin died Jan. 10 at her home in Eddyville. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Princeton.

Her parents were Grannon and Madaline Burden Daugherty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Whalin, and a twin sister, Jo Raley.

Survivors are: three daughters Patti Baize of Kuttawa, Pam Griffin of Beaver Dam, and Sara Dunn of Kuttawa; a sister, Helen Gillstrap of Eddyville; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
