Mrs. Williamson died July 13 at River’s Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa.
Mrs. Williamson’s home was the second house built when Eddyville and Kuttawa had to be relocated when Lake Barkley was impounded. The family moved in before all of the public utilities were in place.
She was a member of Saratoga United Methodist Church and was active in Eddyville United Methodist Church, and a member of the Starlight Chapter of the Eastern Star in Eddyville.
Her parents were Dave and Odie Lamb Parrent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Williamson, five brothers, Earl Parrent, Talmadge Parrent, Paul Parrent, Henry Parrent, Alben Parrent and one sister, Beatrice Parrent.
Survivors are: a sister, Mollie Yates of Eddyville, two nieces, Lilburn Ann Denney of Eddyville, Jeannine Huber of Nashville, Tenn.; and two nephews Glenn Parrent of Wichita, Kan. and Charles Parrent of Kuttawa, four great-nieces,and several great-great nieces and nephews.
