Services for Norma Allen, 89, of Kuttawa were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with the Revs. Jesse Johnson and Glenn Sowards officiating. Burial followed in Kuttawa Cemetery in Kuttawa.
Mrs. Allen passed away Saturday, June 1, in Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton . She was retired from the former Arvin Industries in Princeton, a member of the Kegler Ladies Bowling League in Princeton, a baby sitter for several Lyon County children during her years; and she loved the water and water skiing. She was a member of Kuttawa United Methodist Church .
Her parents were Robert Lee England Sr. and Nora Kate Williams England.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Allen; her daughter, Patricia Allen
Bennett; her son-in-law, Robert "Bob" Bennett; three brothers, R.L. England, Neil England and Russell England; four sisters, Margaret Goad, Louise Murphy, Atta Mae Scahbrough and Kathryn Ford.
Mrs. Allen is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Doris Allen of Gilbertsville; six grandchildren, Page (Chuck) Green, Ellen (Jamie) Crady, LeAnn Allen, Steven (Stephanie) Allen, Jason Allen, Alicia (Scott) Wright; 10 great grandchildren, Trey Greene, Charleigh Greene, Tristan Crady, Cameron Crady, Conner Richie, Jonah Allen, Sheadon Allen, Tinsley Allen, Taylor Klankey, Gaige Allen; one brother, Jimmy England of Gallatin, Tenn.; one sister, Elaine Moncrief of Columbia, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Adilene Ruby Kaye Morton
Services for Adilene Ruby Kaye Morton, of Eddyville, were June 4 at Morgans Funeral Home in Princeton. Wesley Curtis officiated and burial followed at Eddy Creek Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jaden Casey Glendall Morton, paternal grandmother, Linda Morton, and maternal grandfather, Joseph W. Rowan, Sr.
Surviviors are: her parents, Sara Rowan Morton and Phllip Morton of Eddyville; two sisters, Faith Lynn Oliver and Raven Ruth Oliver both of Eddyville; maternal grandmother, Faith Stewart of Paducah; and paternal grandfather, Phillip H. Morton.
Services for Ronald "Ronnie" L. Murphy, 77, of Eddyville, were 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with the Rev. Tim Perdue, Justice Bill Cunningham and David Williams officiating Burial followed in Princeton Memorial Gardens, Highway 91 South in Princeton.
Mr. Murphy passed away at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He was a 1954 graduate of Butler High School in Princeton where he served as the class president. He loved and lived law enforcement. He was retired as a Sgt. for the Kentucky State Police Force with 26 years service. He was former sheriff of Lyon County for 5 years and was currently serving as a deputy for the Lyon County Sheriff's Department. He also served as an honorary Alabama State Trooper serving as a body guard for Gov George Wallace in 1968. He was a former little league basketball coach and was score keeper for the Lyon County High School basketball teams for many years.
He was voted Eddyville Citizen of the Year in 1988. He was a member of the Eddyville Lyons Club, the L.B.L. Sportsman's Club, the Lyon County Christian Men's Club, the Hardee's Men's Breakfast Club and he was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of Eddyville First Baptist Church and a member of the Fishers of Men Sunday School Class.
He loved to cook and make his special chili, restored old cars, liked to squirrel hunt, was an avid hiker, golfer, fisherman and outdoorsman. He liked to rock hunt with his grandchildren. Spending time with his family was his greatest love and especially time spent with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Ronald Phillip Murphy and a sister, Nancy Duff.
His parents were Lawrence McChesney Murphy and Alice Cunningham Murphy.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Clara Orange Murphy; two sons, Kevin Lawrence Murphy and his wife, Elizabeth of Paducah, Kent Murphy and his wife, Carla of Eddyville; a daughter, Kim Glass and her husband, George, of Eddyville; seven grandchildren, Seth and Kaitlin Murphy of Paducah, Kala and Kenton Glass of Nashville, Tenn., Shelby, Hayden and Allison Murphy of Eddyville.

Warren Thomas Patterson, 9
Services for Warren Thomas Patterson, 9, of Princeton were June 2 at Morgan’s Funeral Home with the Revs. Russ Davidson and Dane Hodges officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Hill cemetery.
He drowned May 29 at Kuttawa Beach while on a family outing. He had completed fourth grade at Caldwell County Elementary School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Margie Patterson and an uncle, Dickie Patterson.
Survivors are: his parents, Steve and Jennifer Patterson, both of Princeton; two sisters, Ella Patterson and Jessie Patterson, both of Princeton; maternal grandparents, Cleve and Diane French Marks, Fulton; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Grace French McNeal, Princeton; several cousins; aunts and uncles.
Alexandrea "Allie" Kirtley, 16
Services for Alexandrea "Allie" Kirtley, 16, of Eddyville, were June 2 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with the Rev. Bryan Grigg and Wade White officiating. Burial followed in Macedonia Cemetery in Lyon County.
Ms. Kirtley died May 30 at Marshall County Hospital in Benton, due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. She was employed as cashier and dockhand for the KY Dam Marina in Gilbertsville. She would have been a junior at Lyon County High School in Eddyville for the upcoming 2013-2014 school term. She was a member of the Lyon County Soccer team, Pep Club, FFA Club, FCCLA Club, T.S.A. Club and the Young Republican Club. She was also a member of the Journey Youth Group and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Lyon County.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Patsy Kirtley.
Survivors are: her parents, Mike and Vicki Hoffman Kirtley of Eddyville; a brother,
Jason Kirtley of Henderson; a sister, Angela Mills of Henderson; her maternal grandmother, Janice Breedlove of Eddyville; her maternal grandfather, Bobby Hoffman of Henderson; her maternal step-grandfather, James "Mort" Breedlove of Princeton; her paternal grandfather, Billy Kirtley of Belton; five nieces and one nephew.
