Mrs. Jewell died Nov. 1 at her home following a short illness. She was the owner and operator of Jewell’s Bar-B-Q in Princeton. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Cook; a brother, Jim Cook.
Survivors are: her husband, Kenneth Jewell of Lyon County; her mother, Lida Stewart Cook of Princeton; two sons, Troy Jewell of Princeton, Lowell Wayne of Lyon County; a daughter, Regina Phelps of Lyon County; a brother, Melvin Cook of Hopkinsville; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
