Mr. Calvert died June 27 at his residence in Kuttawa. He was owner and operator of W & S Trucking Company in Indianapolis and was affiliated with Pacemaker Driver Service in Indianapolis after the sale of his trucking company. He was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of Chestnut Oak Methodist Church in Lyon County.
His parents were William Shelton and Myrtle Edens Calvert.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Calvert, two brothers and seven sisters. Survivors are: his wife, Shirley Morgan Calvert; two sons, Dale Calvert of Clinton, Darrell Calvert of Bargersville, Ind.; three daughters, Karen Sue Perry of Rural Hall, N.C., Brenda Pund of Maple Heights, Ohio, Debbie Jones of Greenwood, Ind.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
