Mr. Watkins died April 11 at his residence in Benton. He was a retired truck driver for Long Concrete, a member of New Zion Baptist Church and served in the United States Army.
His parents were Harvel and Mary Whalen Watkins.
Survivors are: his wife, Bobbie Watkins; a daughter, Cheryl Smith of Benton; two sisters, Alice Collins, Robinsville, N.C. and Norma Doyle, Greenfield, Ill.; a brother, Larry Watkins, Madisonville; and two grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
