Graveside services for LaVerne Holt, 82, of Grand Rivers, were May 1 at Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers with the Rev. J. T. Parrish officiating.

Mrs. Holt died April 28 at Marshall County Hospital in Benton. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.

Her parents were Johnny and Pauline Penn Eaton. She was preceded in death by a brother ,William Penn Eaton.

Survivors are: her husband, G. W. Holt; a daughter, Phillias Sterett of Princeton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
