Services for Noble McKinney, 88, of Lyon County were May 6 at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville. The Rev. James Holsapple officiated and burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. McKinney died May 3 at his home.

He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where he was a deacon and Sunday school superintendent for over 20 years, and was retired from SKW Alloys in Calvert City and had farmed all his life.

His parents were Emett and Ida Bell Stone McKinney.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Tasco McKinney, two sisters, Opal McKinney and Dora McKinney and three infant siblings Nora, Dollie and Ollie McKinney.

Survivors are: his wife,Dorothy Dunning McKinney, a son, James Noble McKinney of Lyon County, two daughters Vicky Carter of Franklin, Tenn.; Jennifer McKinney of Nashville, TN; a brother Norvell McKinney of Hanson,two grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
