Services for Susan Carol Harris Mitchell, 57, of Kuttawa, were July 7 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with the Rev. Aaron Brown officiating.  Burial followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Lyon County.

Mrs. Mitchell died July 5. She was Director of Nurses’ Training & Development at Parkview Nursing Home in Paducah, was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lyon County.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Bennett Harris.

Survivors are: her husband, Larry Dale Mitchell; two daughters, Ashley and her husband, Dr. Kyle Davis of Kuttawa, April Brown of Eddyville; two step-sons, Benjamin Dale Mitchell of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mark Allen Mitchell of Madisonville;  four grandchildren, Mary Beth Davis, Lauren Davis, Matthew Brown and Joshua Dale Mitchell; her father and step-mother, Robert and Levada Harris of Kuttawa; a sister, Lea Bozarth of Eddyville and a niece, Addie Bozarth of Eddyville.
