Services for Marvin H. Brinkley, 70, of Marion were July 6 at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville. The Rev. Jackie Gill officiated and burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Brinkley died July 3 at Crittenden County Hospital in Marion.

His parents were Samuel and Bernice Lewis Brinkley.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Ray, his second wife, Frances Brinkley, a daughter, Elizabeth Charlene Brinkley and a sister, Dale Humphrey.

Survivors are: his wife, Devada Hall Brinkley of Marion, a daughter, Jennifer Tyler of Princeton; two sons, Marvin B. Brinkley of Marion; James Ray of Princeton; a sister, Margaret Todd of Sturgis; and seven grandchildren.
