Mr. Whitehead died on Dec. 26 at his home. He grew up Between the Rivers in Lyon County. He was a manufacturing engineer for Magnavox, a dedicated environmentalist, and a member of the Coalition for Health Concerns.
His father, Ernest Bush Whitehead, preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Corinne Ramey Whitehead, Benton.
