Mr. Odom died Dec. 27 at Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton. He was a retired correctional officer for the Kentucky State Penitentiary with 20 years service. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church in Hanson, and was a Navy Vietnam veteran.
His parents were George Cosby Odom and Connie Walker Odom.
He was preceded in death by a son, John Odom and two brothers, James and George Odom.
Survivors are: his wife, Martha Corum Odom; a son, Keith Odom of Kuttawa; three sisters, Mildred Preston of Sebree, Pauline Cobb of Madisonville, Katherine Ballard of Hopkinsville and several nieces and nephews.
