Services for Kenneth Cotton, 79, of Eddyville, will be Jan. 12 at 11 a.m. at Morgans Funeral Home in Princeton. The Revs. John Benton, Norman Cotton, and James Holsapple will officiate. Burial will follow at Liberty Church Cemetery in Lyon County. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 11 at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Cotton died Jan. 8 at his home following a long illness. He was a retired farmer and chemical worker from Penwalt in Calvert City. He had served on the Lyon County School Board, and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

His parents were Lucille Cummins Cotton and Eural Cotton.

Survivors are: his wife, Marilyn Ladd Cotton, two sons, David Cotton of Eddyville; Doug Cotton and wife Laura of Glasgow; a sister, Daythel Holt of Kuttawa; and three grandchildren.
