Services for Kenneth R. Whitney, 58, of Benton, were Feb. 2 at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Robin Redd officiating. Burial followed isn Hickory Grove Cemetery. Mr. Whitney died Jan. 29 at his home.

He was a Baptist.

His parents were Waymon Whitney and Ila Wells Dunn.

Survivors are: two daughters, Shannon Lawrence and Mary Whitney, both of Benton; a son, Kenny Whitney of Benton; three brothers, Wayne Whitney of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Gary Whitney of Utica, and Jimmy Whitney of Princeton, and five grandchildren.
