With the state moratorium on evictions lifted Saturday, the dog days of summer could bring a tidal wave of evictions amid late summer heat and humidity in the commonwealth. But with a small population and low number of renters, Lyon County is not likely to see many families left without homes.

A Wildlife Food Plot Workshop will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Trigg County Recreation Complex in Cadiz. The speaker is Dr. Matt Springer, a University of Kentucky Wildlife Management Specialist.
