Most of us have at least one or two heavy burdens that seem to keep our spirits in turmoil, preoccupying our minds all day, every day. Here are just a few examples of the many Biblical truths and promises we will be considering, that we might both understand and apply them in our daily lives:

  • Psalm 121:2 — My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
  • Hebrews 3:12-13 — Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
  • John 16:33 — “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
  • Hebrews 4:16 — Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
