Black lives matter. Yes, they do. Black lives are created in the image of God, and their lives matter.
However, the official organization that goes by the name of Black Lives Matter — which is raking in millions of dollars, receiving prominent endorsements by the day, pressuring government at all levels and galvanizing supporters to impact the 2020 election — is evil.
Patrisse Khan-Cullors, co-founder and strategic advisor of Black Lives Matter stated in a 2015 interview with The Real News Network that she and fellow co-founder Alicia Garza are trained Marxists well versed in ideological theories.
Karl Marx, father of Marxism, believed utopia — he called it “communism” — was possible on earth. But there was a catch. To achieve utopia, bloody “revolutionary terror” by the oppressed classes
After the revolution, Marx held that there would necessarily be a dictatorship by the previously oppressed people, who would exterminate all opposition. Religion would have to go. Marx wrote, “The first requisite for the happiness
of the people is the abolition of religion.”
Then, after all opposition was eliminated, the dictators would voluntarily surrender power, and Marx believed, all would live in perfect peace. Somehow, that last stage of communism has never been achieved.
The Bible tells us that utopia on earth is not possible. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. In the words of James Madison, “If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary.”
With that in mind our government was set up to exert power through three co-equal branches with checks and balances. However, even the Founders recognized that ultimate hope does not lie in government. James Madison also stated: “We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.”
Even that is impossible apart from the sanctifying presence of the Holy Spirit in a life transformed by the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Nevertheless, the Marxists with Black Lives Matter seek to usher in a utopia, through revolution, unhinged from biblical morality. At BlackLivesMatter.com, under the heading “What We Believe,” they state: “We … do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege.” “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement.” “We foster a queer-affirming network.”
On their homepage, a video entitled “Now, We Transform” proclaims, “Now it’s time to transform. We are united, we are loud, and we are strong.” The video description reads, “This is the revolution. Change is coming.”
Yes, black lives matter, but the organization by that name is a deviant, dangerous, Marxist, revolutionary organization. It is evil.
