We have a wonderful Heavenly Father, Precious King of all kings named Jesus. Too often, we give little importance to the third member of the God head who is the Holy Spirit. As I read Ephesians 4 verse 30, I wonder if in some ways we are grieving Him by lack of acknowledgement. So such are His wonderful works to us, we are remiss if we do not thank Him often. He is the one who births us a child of God (John 3:6-8). The holy scriptures are of His gift to us (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21).

It seems that when Jesus ascended to the Father and His replacement the Holy Spirit came, three headline tasks were placed upon Him. John 16:7-11 reads, “Never the less I tell you the truth, it is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away the Comforter will not come unto you, but if I depart, I will send Him unto you. And when he is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness and of judgement of sin because they believe not on me, of righteousness because I go to my Father and you see me no more.”
