Sermons about the terror of Hell are about as scarce as hen's teeth any more; however, the faithful preacher will preach especially about Heaven and Hell.
It is not a loving pastor who will never preach about the horrors of hell to his congregation.
The Pope recently said there was no hell.
This will deceive many who believe that his rulings are infallible.
If I don't preach all the truth I am a threat and deceiver to my congregation.
The truth is there are many more teachings in God's word about the subject of hell than there is about Heaven.
Hell is factual scripturally. (Matthew Chapter 25, Revelations Chapter 20 and Luke Chapter 16) Matthew 7:13-14 reads "Enter ye in at the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction and many there be who go in there because straight (narrow) is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth until life and few there be that find it.
Hell's a place of fury! It is described as everlasting fire, a lake of fire and eternal torment. Consider this: how elegant must Heaven be and is described in John 14:1-2 and Revelation Chapter 20.
The same builder of hell is God who created hell for the devil and his angels.
Hell is friendless, a place of outer darkness. Hell is final!
The gates of hell, its entrance wide, cries out this simple instruction. Narrow is the way that leads to life and broad that leads to destruction.
My howls, my moans, my screaming in agony. I'm forever without hope in this deep abyss of roaring fire,
When I've been here 10,000 years having been separated from God's So, my torment and endless days to much chagrin will have only begun.
So my precious friend, hurry now before it's too late. Repenting, rejoicing, entering the narrow gate.
