Several Lyon County students were among the more than 525 recently named to the dean's list for the fall 2019 semester at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. To be named to the dean's list, a student must be a full-time WKCTC student earning at least a 3.5 grade point average and successfully completing 12 hours or more of course work numbered 100 or above for the academic term.

Local students named to the dean's list are Shaina Driver, Kimberly Hill, Kayla Hillyard, Robert Langhi III, Derrick Lisanby, David Massey, Charles Millikan, Amber Morrison, Brookelyn Perry, Kelsey Vega Garcia and Mandey Wray.

West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC) has been recognized as an Aspen Prize Top 10 Community College four times by the Aspen Institute and has twice been named a Finalist with Distinction for providing students with strong job training and continuing higher education opportunity, for achieving high completion and transfer rates and for providing strong employment results for its graduates.
