At approximately 11:30 p.m. January 26, Eddyville Police stopped Logan Stariwat, 22, of Marion, on a standard equipment violation. Officers determined Stariwat’s operator’s license was suspended, and charged him with operating on a suspended license, failure to surrender revoked operator’s license, failure to produce insurance card, and rear license not illuminated. Stariwat was jailed in Crittenden County. Officers were assisted by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department.
On January 23, about 1:55 a.m. Eddyville Police received a call from Ricky Henson, 54, who was hearing people outside his home. Following an investigation, officers determined Henson was under the influence. He was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance second offense-methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers also served Henson with a warrant from another state charging him as a fugitive. Henson was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail. Eddyville Police were assisted by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department.
About 9:35 p.m., January 21, Eddyville Police observed a vehicle in the ditch at U.S. 62 and Days Inn Drive. After investigating, officers determined the driver, Robert Paschalis, 29, of Montpeleir, Ohio, was possibly under the influence. Paschalis was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence-alcohol. Paschalis was jailed in Crittenden County.
At midnight, January 12, Eddyville Police stopped Lawrence Lozano Jr. 46, of Gilbertsville. Lozano was arrested on a Caldwell County bench warrant and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
About 1:16 a.m., January 6, Eddyville Police stopped Carolyn Dorroh, 66, of Eddyville on a traffic violation. She was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance-unspecified, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense-drug unspecified, and illegal possession of a legend drug. She was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail. Lesley Kinnis, 40, of Nashville, Tennessee, a passenger in the vehicle, was charged with third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense, drug unspecified, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kinnis was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail. Eddyville Police were assisted by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department.
On January 5, about 9:05 p.m. Eddyville Police responded to 304 Cedar Street regarding a loud music complaint. Upon arrival, officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the residence. Upon investigation, officers found marijuana in the residence and cited homeowner Paul Henderson, 48, to court on a possession of marijuana charge.
