On Sunday at approximately 8:30 a.m. Eddyville Police received a report of a camper theft from the Pennyrile District Health Department at 208 Outlet Avenue.

Officers are now investigating the theft of a 2020 JayCo Camper/Toy Hauler that was used for flu clinics by the health department.

On Thursday at approximately 2:20 a.m. Eddyville Police stopped James Moore, 30, on a standard traffic violation. After speaking with Moore, officers allegedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Moore was cited on charges of driving on a suspended operator’s license, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Feb. 9 at approximately 1 p.m. Eddyville Police received a call of a suspicious vehicle on Gregory Road. After speaking with the driver of the vehicle, officers determined that Joe Stinnett, 48, of Fredonia, had an active Crittenden County bench warrant.

He was arrested on the bench warrant and taken to the Crittenden County Jail.
