Attitudes Hair Design & Day Spa are supporting an effort to raise funds for a local boy with terminal cancer and his family.
The hair salon and spa want to help make a difference — one haircut at a time — for Owen Matthews, 10, and his family in the boy’s battle with terminal cancer. The event will take place on Saturday, Aug 8, beginning at 8 a.m. and running until 2 p.m. at the salon at 686 U.S. 62 East in Eddyville.
“Attitudes will donate all the proceeds from this one-day haircut event to the Mathews family,” said salon owner Robin Johnson.
“It’s a fun event for a great cause and an amazing young man and family,” added Deb Domke, executive director of the Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce. “This is a wonderful effort from the Johnson family and the team at Attitudes wanting to give back and give a local family a hand up in their fight against cancer. It’s what makes living in Lyon County so special.”
