Katie's Cabin Kitchen holds ribbon cutting

The Lake Barkley Chamber recently held a ribbon-cutting at Katie’s Cabin Kitchen, located at 215 Vista Dr. in Kuttawa.

Katie Hazelwood, owner of Katie’s Cabin Kitchen, officially cut the ribbon on their new restaurant last week.

Hazelwood was happy to cut the ribbon alongside her husband, Mickey Kinnis, and family at the eatery, which is located inside the Cabin Bait & Tackle at 215 Vista Drive in Kuttawa.

Mayor Barbara Campbell along with Kuttawa city officials, chamber ambassadors and members of the business community, gathered today to enjoy a tasty sampling of Katie’s homemade desserts, truffles and more. Katie shared that the restaurant offers an appetizing breakfast and lunch selection and includes an elevated homemade dessert selection.

“We are thrilled to welcome Katie’s Cabin Kitchen to our business community and an added choice when dining in our area,” said Deb Domke, Chamber Executive Director.

The new restaurant is open 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Monday and you may call orders in at 270-388-6440. Breakfast is served until 10:30 a.m. and throughout the day on Sunday.
