A workshop geared to help nonprofits and other organizations stay legal with the IRS and the state will be offered later this month in Hopkinsville.
The Pennyrile Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Area Council in cooperation with Pennyrile Area Development District (PADD), United Way of the Pennyrile and Jeffers Bend Steering Committee will host the workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the PADD office at 300 Hammond Dr., Hopkinsville.
In addition to help with complying with IRS regulations, the workshop will offer 30-40 nonprofits information on branding secure financial support and volunteers and addressing growing challenges in 2020 and beyond.
