The Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce will host a legislative breakfast on Monday, Feb. 17 at the Lyon Convention Center in Eddyville.
First District Congressman James Comer will be the featured speaker. The Republican will discuss a number of issues, including the latest on the war on Asian carp in western Kentucky. A question-and-answer session will follow if time permits.
The meeting begins at 7:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast offered by Chamber member Our Daily Bread. The meeting is expected to last about an hour.
The breakfast is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. Pre-registration and ticket purchase are requested.
Tickets are $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-chamber members. Tickets may be obtained by contacting the Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce at 270-388-4769.
