Woman charged with stealing from employer

A Marion woman was arrested last week by Lyon County Sheriff’s Department on a Christian County warrant for unlawfully charging hundreds of

dollars to accounts that were not hers.

According to a report, Kayla Joyce McClure, 30, was charged on March 17 with theft by deception related $1,822 in phone charges she racked up in the name of Elbert Moore of Hopkinsville. She is also accused of charging $546 to a credit card belonging to the man.

The October 2019 warrant for offenses alleged in 2018 shows that McClure gained access to the accounts as an employee of Moore’s.

Princeton man arrested for drugs, trespassing

Joshua Issac Fowler, 37, of Princeton is facing drug-related and trespassing charges after being arrested March 16 by Lyon County authorities.

According to a report, the sheriff’s department was called to a vacant residence on Ky. 938 about a trespassing complaint. When they arrived, law enforcement reportedly found Fowler in the wood line of a home that did not belong to him. He allegedly crossed at least two fences to gain access to the property.

Upon a search of Fowler following his arrest, a small bag of methamphetamine was reportedly found in one of his pockets.

Fowler was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
