II Timothy 2:15 and I Peter 3:15
The worldly thinking is seeing is believing but God's Holy Word tells us that believing is seeing - Hebrews 11:1-3
Without faith it is impossible to please God: For he that cometh to God must believe that God is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
By faith we believe that the Bible is divinely inspired, without error, and instructs us in our Christian walk. (II Timothy 3:16)
His word tells us that by faith we learn that the worlds were framed by the Word of God (Hebrews 11:3, Genesis 1:1, Hebrews 1:10) God created the world out of nothing. He simply spoke it into existence.
The Hebrew language teaches us that He brought the worlds into existence by the power of His word.
His word tells us where we got our days. The morning and evening were the first day.
The Hebrew word "Yom" is 24 hours. He tells us by His word where the sun, moon and stars came from. The star-lit space comes from His creation.
By Him, we have oceans and rivers, mountains, trees and flowers.
We have animals of all kinds who reproduce after their kinds.
By faith, we learn that the earth is round and taught long before explorers or scientists said so. (Isaiah 40:22). That the earth was created in seven days by the word of the Lord; not evolved.
That animals were named by Adam; that we have protective angels who visit us unaware. (Psalms 34:7 and Hebrews 13:2). That the languages of the word came from rebellion (Genesis 12). We learn that the races of the world came from the sons of Noah.
In the top of priorities about faith, God's word tells us, "For by grace you are saved by faith and not that of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not works, lest any man should boast!"
