WoodmenLife recently donated $500 to Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

“This donation is WoodmenLife’s way of letting first responders know how appreciated they are,” said Stephanie Edwards, president of Chapter 484. “It is important that we show our support.”

WoodmenLife members are committed to supporting communities and local organizations like the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

“Our first responders sacrifice so much every day to protect our hometown, and Chapter 484’s donation to help equip these heroes is a small way to ensure they know we appreciate their efforts,” according to a news release from WoodmenLife.

WoodmenLife chapters across the country participated in the Equipping Our Hometown Heroes campaign and giving back to first responder organizations their hometowns.
