Elberta Riley Jackson, 85 of Princeton died Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Princeton Health and Rehab Center.

She was a homemaker, a member of Creswell Baptist Church and an Eastern Star.

Jackson is survived by her daughter, Rena (Tommy) Hillyard of Fredonia; a daughter-in-law, Becky Jackson of Kuttawa; three sons Mike (Synthia) Jackson of Madisonville, Sammy (Sheila) Jackson of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and Fred (Lorrie) Jackson of Princeton; a son-in-law, Dennis Cole of Maynard, Arkansas; two sisters, Ina Blackburn and Linda Compton, both of Trigg County, and Brenda Hampton of Todd County; a brother, Grady Riley of Guston; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Andrew Jackson Sr.; her parents Fred and Janie Chambliss Riley; a daughter, Linda Jackson Cole; a son, Bobby Andrew Jackson Jr.; three sisters, Lois Harris, Sandra Riley and Marlin Blackburn; and two grandsons, Michael Jackson and Laramey Barnett.

Funeral services were Sunday, with Bro. Mike Franklin and the Rev. Gerald Cannon officiating. Burial was in Baker Cemetery.

Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.
