Jerry Clyde Padgett, age 90, of Kuttawa, died Thursday, April 25, at his home. He was a retired chemical operator with Pennwalt and attended Hebron Baptist Church. He was a member of Dycusburg Masonic Lodge #232, Rizpah Shrine Temple, Scottish Rite and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Viola Padgett, one sister, Juanita Anast and one brother, Vance Farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bennett Padgett, Kuttawa, Ky.; one daughter, Debbie Greenwell, Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; three sons, Jerry “Butch” Padgett, Eddyville; David Padgett, Eddyville; and Steve Padgett of Lewisburg, Tenn.; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Monday, April 29, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Eddyville. Masonic services were at 7 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
