Jack Winters added two goals in the first half to give the Harrisburg Bulldogs the early lead in their 6-3 win over the Lyons last Friday.

Levi Willis put one in the net just minutes into the second half to trim the Bulldogs’ lead back 2-1.

Winters had back-to-back goals near the 58-minute and 62-minute marks making it a 4-1 ball game. Willis answered back with a swift kick to the inside of the right goal post for his second goal of the night that trimmed the lead 4-2.

Carlos Coronado’s assist to Timothy Stewart Taylor trimmed the lead back even further, 4-3.

Running short on substitutes, the Lyons momentum seemed to fizzle, allowing the Bulldogs to score 2 additional goals in the last 12 minutes of the game. Adrian Mann and Jesus Aboyte are credited with the goals. Mann’s was unassisted, while Aboyte scored on assist from Winters.

Luke Gilbert tallied a total of 15 saves.
