Betty Faye Walker, age 79, of Kuttawa, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 20, 2020. She was born August 31,1940 in her family home as an identical twin to her sister, Sharon Kaye. Betty exuded a life of love, purpose and giving. She established her faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in her adult years. She exemplified many roles as wife, friend, mother/grandmother, and in years of healthcare service.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Scott and Mable (Copley) Anderson, and her sisters, Sharon Kaye Meredith and Ruth Ann Barger and grandson, David Noah Halliman. She is survived by her loving legacy including husband, William Walker of Kuttawa and their family,John (& Linda) Ball of Springville, Utah; Sherri (& Michael) Johnson of Orem, Utah; Tammy (& Jim) Horger of South Jordan, Utah; Sarah (& Bernard) Walker of Washington, Utah; Samuel Ball of Metropolis, Illinois; Spencer Ball of South Jordan, UT; Carol Ann (& Larry) Hibbert of Rexburg, ID; Todd (& Laurie) Walker of Corvallis, OR; Sandra Walker-Halliman Lohr (& Richard Lohr) of Charleston, SC; and Travis Walker (& Carol Withrow) of Tiline, KY. Also surviving are grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Jared, and Serenity Ball; James, Jr., Natalie, Mitchell, and Lindsay Horger; Lillie, Cameron, & Zachary Walker; Scott (& Raven), and Michelle Walker; Camille (& William) Strahl ; Dionna Jones, Daniel Halliman, Daesha Capeless, and Audrey Withrow, as well as four great-grandchildren.
The memorial service for Betty Walker will be Saturday, August 22 at 1 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Princeton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org . Betty will be greatly missed by her family and community for her delicious homemade candies, weekly loaves of fresh-baked bread, and countless acts of selfless service and devotion to others.
