The Lyon County Ministerial Association is inviting the community to two public services.

The Good Friday service is from 12:05-12:55 p.m. on Friday, April 15 and is titled, “The Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ on the Cross.” It is hosted by Eddyville United Methodist Church, located at 215 Jenkins Road, and everyone is invited to a light luncheon immediately following the service.

The Easter sunrise service is 6:30 a.m. on April 17 at the large pavilion or the amphitheater at Old Kuttawa Park. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at the Kuttawa United Methodist Church, which is located at 98 Lakeshore Drive in New Kuttawa.

At both services, an offering will be received to help the Ministerial Association meet needs in Lyon County. For more information, contact Deacon Paul Bachi at 270-206-0512.

Additionally, the Mark Trammell Quartet will be in concert at Donaldson Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. on April 15. The concert will be sponsored by the Caldwell-Lyon Baptist Association, which hopes to bring a night of southern gospel music to the community to celebrate Good Friday.

Admission to the concert is free, and a love offering will be received. Donaldson Baptist Church is located at 104 Enon Road in Princeton, in the Farmersville community. Everyone is invited.
