Every year, Bluegrass on (Lake) Beshear seeks to raise money for life-affirming pregnancy care centers in western Kentucky. One of the centers that receives annual help is HOPE Clinic in Eddyville.

HOPE Clinic is a Christ-centered center that provides health, wellness and other care options to women and families before, during and after unplanned pregnancies. The services include pregnancy tests, life skills and parenting classes, STI testing, education and counseling.

HOPE Clinic Executive Director Lisa Holland said the support from Bluegrass on (Lake) Beshear is ongoing.

“HOPE Clinic has been blessed for the last five years with a donation from Bluegrass on Lake Beshear,” Holland said. “We are able to serve our clients at both our Benton and Eddyville locations because of organizations like Bluegrass on Beshear.”

Bluegrass on (Lake) Beshear describes itself as a fun, family-friendly outdoor music fest with beautiful Lake Beshear as its backdrop. The festival serves as a fundraiser that donates 100% of funds raised to pro-life pregnancy centers. In 2022, the festival broke its previous record and raised a total of $38,592.

Donations were split between Door of Hope in Madisonville, Alpha PCC in Hopkinsville and the HOPE Clinic locations in both Eddyville and Benton. HOPE Clinic received $12,864.

HOPE Clinic is located at 705 W. Fairview Avenue in Eddyville and can be reached at 270-601-5075.
