An apple and pear grafting class will be offered at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 16 at the Lyon County Extension Office. The instructor is Daniel Beck, University of Kentucky associate for fruits and vegetables. Each person will graft two trees, there is a limited supply of pear rootstock. Cost is $10 per person and the class size is limited.
I will be teaching a class on hydrangea selection and care at 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6. This class is free and will be held at the Lyon County Extension Office. For additional information or to register for either of these classes, call the Lyon County Extension Office at 270-388-2341.
