This year, the city of Kuttawa is hosting its second annual Kuttawa Trunk or Treat. The event is set for 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Kuttawa Pavilion.

The city is asking for volunteers and donations for the event in the form of food, trunks and crafts. If any person or groups, such as a church, would like to provide trunks to trick or treat out of, city hall is asking for the number of vehicles.

People can also sign up to provide food at the event, such as hotdogs, chili, chips and drinks. Electricity will be available, if needed. The city is also hoping to have crafts and games available for the children and is looking for volunteers to provide these.

To sign up to volunteer for the event, contact City Hall at 270-388-7151 or email Volunteers are asked to sign up before Oct. 17. Set up will be no later than 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The city is also seeking candy donations for the event. Candy should be individually wrapped and in bags. It can be dropped off at City Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Kuttawa Pavilion is located at 88 Cedar St. in Kuttawa.
