The George Coon Public Library in Princeton will be hosting a Star Wars event on Saturday, April 30.

The event will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and take place at the library.

The event is open to middle school and high school-aged Star Wars fans as an early May the Fourth celebration. Guests are invited to arrive in costume and take part in the cosplay contest the library will be running at the event.

Other events include a STEM craft, decoding relay, trash compactor dive and blaster target practice. Prizes will be awarded. The library invites all teens and preteens to come and enjoy some Star Wars fun.

While this event is geared towards teens and preteens, the library offers other summer events that are fun for all ages, including movie nights and a summer reading program. More information on public events can be found on the library’s Facebook page, George Coon Public Library.
