The Lyon County Boys Tennis team picked up a 3-1 road win over the Hoptown Tigers in Hopkinsville Monday night.
In singles action, Brandon Ray defeated VeShaun Blount 8-1 while Devin Guess also claimed an 8-1 win over Timothy Marvel. Hopkinsville’s Spencer Powell defeated Zach Radivonyk 7-5 & 6-1. Lyon won the only doubles match with Jackson Crawford and Dalton Phillips beating Blount and Marvel 6-0 & 6-2.
The Lyon Girls Tennis team didn’t fare quite as well, dropping a 2-7 loss in Hopkinsville. Allie Holt claimed the only girls singles win over Chiani Leak 8-5. Holt joined Emma Riley for the lone doubles win 6-2 & 6-4 over Madison Allen and Aphasia King.
