• On April 10, around 11 a.m., Deputy Aaron O’Leary arrested Terra Proctor, 34, of Smiths Grove, and charged her with a Butler Circuit Court bench warrant on failure to pay court costs, fees or fines, according to the sheriff’s office.
• On April 10, around 12:45 p.m., Deputy O’Leary arrested Mary Brown, 34, of Louisville, and charged her with five Jefferson County District Court bench warrants and one Meade District Court bench warrant, all on failure to appear in court, according to the sheriff’s office.
• On April 12, around 7:55 a.m., Sheriff Brent White was at the Lyon County Middle School when he saw a vehicle traveling the wrong way in the student drop-off-line, according to the sheriff’s office. The driver, Kanisha R. Brasher, 36, of Princeton, was later charged with possession of marijuana and given a citation to appear in court, according to the sheriff’s office.
• On April 12, around 10:45 a.m., Chief Deputy Sam Adams responded to a two-vehicle minor collision on US 641 approximately two miles north of Eddyville. The sheriff’s office said investigation revealed a Case tractor pulling a disk, operated by Edwin T. Belt, 60, of Marion, was southbound when he met a 2018 Dodge van operated by Tamara Morris, 62, of Kuttawa, which was northbound. The implement in tow impacted the mirror of Morris’ vehicle in a sideswipe fashion. No injuries were reported in the minor collision, according to the sheriff’s office.
• On April 12 around 8 p.m., Sheriff White located a man in Kuttawa, who was the subject of a recent trespassing complaint, according to the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office said Deputy David Carroll charged Osvaldo Guzman-Guttirez, 27, of Kuttawa, with criminal trespassing, third-degree and possession of marijuana. He was given a citation to appear in court, according to the sheriff’s office.
• On April 12, around 10 p.m., Deputy Carroll did a traffic stop on Fairview Avenue in Eddyville. The sheriff’s office said that, following a roadside investigation, he arrested Buddy W. Dockery, 39, of Morgantown. He was initially charged on a Butler Circuit Court warrant on failure to appear in court. In addition, he was also charged with possession of controlled substance — first-degree (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia-possession, according to the sheriff’s office.
• On April 13, around 3 p.m., Deputy Lori Francis served two Russell Circuit Court bench warrants on Angela Passamore, 40, of Russell Springs, charging her with failure to pay court costs, fees or fines, according to the sheriff’s office.
• On April 14, around 8 p.m., Deputy Carroll was dispatched to a single-vehicle collision on US 62 East near Gill Pike Road. The sheriff’s office said investigation revealed a 2015 Subaru, operated by Elizabeth L. Roberts, 45, of Eddyville, was east on US 62 when she collided with a deer. There were no injuries reported in the collision, according to the sheriff’s office.
• On April 17, around 7:50 a.m., Deputy Carroll did a traffic stop on a 2013 Ford pickup truck on US 62 West. The sheriff’s office said the driver was identified as Tamara A. Gipson, 45. She was arrested and charged with operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, according to the sheriff’s office. At the time of this arrest, Gipson had three other citations pending in Lyon County and had failure to appears in two cases in Union County and one in Caldwell County, according to the sheriff’s office. She was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
