Are you in need of a summer child care option? Lyon Cubs Day Care is now accepting enrollments for their summer child care program.
To be eligible, a student must have been enrolled in Lyon County Schools, preschool through fifth grade, for the 2022-2023 school year. The daycare is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and daily prices are dependent upon the child’s schedule. The daycare can also accommodate flexible schedules if notice is provided in advance.
Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. is $20/day. Aftercare, which consists of any time after 3 to 5:30 p.m., is an additional $8 if scheduled in advance. It is an additional $10 if the day is a late pick-up.
The daycare center is operated by Lyon County Schools and has qualified and experienced staff. Activities will include interactive learning through music and movement, literacy development and creative activities and educational games. Breakfast, lunch and a snack will also be provided daily.
The fee also includes a t-shirt and field trips. Last summer, trips included the Discovery Park of America, Maggie’s Jungle Golf and the Evansville Mesker Park Zoo.
Lyon Cub daycare is a Licensed Type 1 child care facility, as well as first aid and CPR certified. For more information, contact 270-388-9715, ext. 406 or amy.perdue@lyon.kyschools.us.
