The Lyon County boys and girls tennis teams traveled to University Heights Academy for a little late season action. The Lyons won 6-3 while the Lady Lyons finished near perfect 5-1, dropping one of two doubles matches.

In girls singles action, Laney Dalbey took the 9-7 win in extra sets over Kate Bennett. Anna Crawford defeated Hannah Jane Holland 8-2, while Josie Kaminski won 8-1 over Rachel Cavanah. Cassidy Chaptman blanked Isabel Cook 8-0. In girls doubles, Bennett and Holland claimed UHA’s lone win with 8-6 over Zoe Board and Caroline Cook.

For the boys singles, Dalton Phillips and Warren Parker both defeated Nicolas Fantini and Logan Wood with 9-7, respectively. Walker Suitor won 8-1 over Rudra Patel and Collin Calhoun shut out Tyler Jones 8-0.

In boys’ doubles, Crawford and Calhoun won 8-0 over Wood and Jones, while Suitor and Parker also won 8-0 over Paxton Aldridge and Bradley Simmons.
